Law Offices of David Harrison, P.C. are pleased to announce a favorable FINRA securities arbitration award recommending expungement on behalf of a former Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC registered representative.

The claim alleged that the Form U-5 language reported was defamatory.  In the Award, the arbitrator changed the Reason for Termination to “Voluntary,” with the Termination Explanation deleted in its entirety.

“Brokerage firms have taken a cavalier attitude in marking up CRDS of registered representatives without properly doing their due diligence.   Once upon a time, securities firms would treat their employees as family and conduct investigations fairly and accurately.  Today, many firms disregard that an innocuous event could have the effect of an industry bar, preventing further employment in the securities industry and forcing registered representatives to jump through legal hoops and expenses to file a FINRA securities arbitration to have a defamatory disclosure expunged,” says Claimant’s attorney David Harrison, Esq.

If you believe your brokerage firm defamed you, call David Harrison, Esq. at (310) 499-4732 or visit www.finra-arb.com for a free consultation.
